‘Robinhood’: Australian cricketer David Warner to make acting debut with Nithiin’s Telugu film

We had previously reported that Telugu actor Nithiin is teaming up with director Venky Kudumula for a film titled Robinhood. The film, which has Nithiin team up once again with his Extra-Ordinary Man co-star Sreelala, is gearing up for its release later this month.

It’s now known that veteran Australian cricketer and IPL player David Warner has been roped in for a cameo in the film. The makers took to social media to welcome the player to the Indian film industry. Warner too took to X where he wrote, “Indian cinema, here I come.”

Robinhood is touted to be a heist comedy. GV Prakash Kumar has contributed the music, while the film has cinematography by Sai Sriram and editing by Koti. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under their Mythri Movie Makers banner.

Nithiin had also headlined Venky Kudumula’s previous film, Bheeshma (2020).
