Minister for Transport, Youth, and Sports Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy
The Minister was inagurating borewells at the villages of Variga and Shettiwandlapalle in Rayachoti mandal of Annamayya district on Sunday.
The Minister reiterated the governmentâs commitment to addressing water scarcity in the State. âWe are taking special measures to ensure every village has access to water. Resolving the water crisis is our top priority, especially during the summer months. We are systematically adding borewells to mitigate the issue and ensure sustainable water supply for all villages in the constituency,â he said.
Residents of Shettiwandlapalle welcomed the Minister, presenting him with traditional harathi in appreciation of the initiative. Several TDP leaders and activists were also present.
Mr. Ramprasad Reddy also laid the foundation stone for a new cement concrete (CC) road leading to the Malleswara Temple at Mallayakkapalle from Rayachoti. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the governmentâs ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure in the constituency.
âAs part of the development plans for the six zones of Rayachoti, we are ensuring that every village is equipped with proper cement roads, drainage systems and streetlights. The construction of this CC road will improve accessibility to Malleswara Temple and benefit the local community,â he said.
