The production house shared an image from the sets of the veteran actorâs upcoming film Jailer 2. In the picture, along with Rajini, Jailerâsdirector Nelson is present along with Karthik Subbaraj (who helmed Rajiniâs Petta) and Lokesh Kanagaraj (whose film with Rajini, Coolie, will be the actorâs next release).
Unsurprisingly, the photograph went viral, and the directors retweeted the pic and added their thoughts on it. âMoment to cherish and so much fun,â said Nelson, while Lokesh mentioned, âVery happy to see Thalaivar again in the sets of Jailer 2.â Karthik stated, âJust Before clicking this…. Thalaivar smiled at us and Said in his style âPetta Coolie Jailerâ … Love u Thalaivaa.â
Rajiniâs next release isCoolie which was wrapped up earlier this month. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj and Shruti Haasan. The film is expected to be released later this year. The actor has now commenced shooting for Jailer 2, the sequel to the hit 2023 film.
