This announcement was made by Mr. Sesha Varadarajan, Senior Vice President, Global Products Group, Lam Research at Global Investor’s Meet: Invest Karnataka 2025 at Bangalore Palace.

In this connection, Lam Research has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Karnataka to earmark a land parcel owned by KIADB for the planned investment.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has emphasised that this investment placed Karnataka at the heart of the global semiconductor ecosystem.
The tools produced by Lam Research are used in wafer processing and wiring of semiconductor devices, according to the company.
