Immediately suspend the officials who demolished the Digambar Jain temple in Vile Parle Mumbai and take action to reconstruct the temple – Sakal Jain Samaj Pune
Pune/dnyanpravah News, Date 18 – Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain temple in Vile Parle (East) Mumbai is a temple that is more than 30 years old. Despite the stay given by the Bombay High Court, the Sakal Jain Samaj held a meeting at H.N.D. Jain Boarding in Pune to protest the hasty demolition of the temple by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation administration, which hurt the sentiments of the Jain community and decided to take out a protest march to draw the attention of the government and submit a memorandum to the Pune District Collector.
No matter how small this incident may seem, it is a big warning for the Jain community. The places of worship of the Jain community will be taken over by the power of the government. The Jain community is peaceful. Therefore, the Jain community is being continuously targeted because it is believed that it cannot do anything wrong. The manner in which this temple was demolished is highly condemnable and has created anger in the Jain community. This action has created anger in the Jain community and other peace-loving communities across the country.
In this regard, on behalf of the entire Jain community, a representation was submitted to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Chinchwad today, requesting him to immediately suspend the officials who demolished the Jain temple in Vile Parle (East) in Mumbai and take action to reconstruct the temple. Please take this matter seriously and take necessary action.
On this occasion A large number of representatives of the Jain community including Abhay Chhajed, Achal Jain, Milind Phade, Surendra Gandhi, Chandrakant Patil, Ajit Patil, Annasaheb Patil, Ashok Pagariya, Rajendra Surana, Adv Yogesh Pandey, Adv Sheetal Lohade, Uday Lengde, Pritam Mehta, C.A. Suryakant Shah,Manish Barjate, Abhay Jain, Kiran Shah, Padma Ajmera, Sujata Shah, Mahavir Shah, Sunil Kataria were present.
