GHMC Standing Committee clears 13 proposals including one to name a grade separator after former PM Manmohan Singh


The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s standing committee, during its meeting on Thursday, cleared 13 proposals, including one to name the grade separator coming up on National Highway 44, after the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who passed away recently.

The proposals approved also include extension of the comprehensive road maintenance programme (CRMP) for five more years, and the ₹7,032 crore works under the Hyderabad Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure project. The committee also approved ratification of ₹620-crore developmental works between Nalgonda crossroads and Owaisi Hospital Junction, besides several road widening and de-silting works.
