Empowerment Focus by Mahayuti Leads to Increase in Women’s Voter Base – Shiv Sena Leader Dr.Neelam Gorhe
Pune/ dnyanpravah news,November 9 – The Mahayuti government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has focused on women’s empowerment over the past few years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also ensured the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the central government to increase opportunities for women in politics. This has led to a visible increase in the women’s voter base in the state for the first time. As a result, all political parties have taken serious note of this and adjusted their campaign strategies accordingly, stated Shiv Sena Leader Dr. Neelam Gorhe.
In a press conference held by Shiv Sena in Pune today, Dr. Neelam Gorhe remarked that the opposition has been spreading misinformation about the “Ladki Bahin” Scheme. She clarified that the Mahayuti government is not just providing financial support to women but is also giving the Ladki Bahin true recognition as respected citizens in society. The Mahayuti government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has opened the door to economic progress for women, leading to an increase in their self-confidence.
Dr. Gorhe added that women have become more aware and are bringing government schemes to households, with these Ladki Bahin becoming “scheme ambassadors.”
The press conference was also attended by Yuva Sena Secretary Kiran Sali and Shiv Sena Women’s Wing leader Sudarshana Trigunayat.
