“I will travel across the State. Along with workers and leaders, I will organise the party. H.D. Kumaraswamy is now an Union Minister. Nikhil Kumaraswamy and I will build a cadre of young workers,” he said, while hoisting the national flag at the party office in Bengaluru. The party will be strengthened from the gram panchayat level, he added.
Meanwhile, speaking to presspersons during his visit to Dodda Genigere village in Hassan taluk, Mr. Gowda said he will give attention to strengthening the party’s organisation in Hassan district in the coming days and hold a series of meetings with leaders soon.
Mr. Gowda said that he would visit Hassan soon after the coming Lok Sabha session. He would stay in Hassan for some time and meet the leaders of the party. “We will work out strategies to strengthen the party’s organisation after discussing with leaders in the district,” he said.
Mr. Gowda visited Dodda Genigere village to attend the post-death ceremony of Patel Shivaram, former MLC and senior leader of the JD(S).
