Ramayanam can help children walk the right path: religious scholar

Religious scholar and trustee of the Sitharama Swamy temple of Kondapur in Hyderabad Ch. Vijayaraghavacharyulu here on Saturday (January 25) said Ramayanam teaches the importance of ethics, values and dharma in everyday life and can help children walk the right path in their lives.

He was speaking as the chief guest at Varadhi, a global conclave on Ramayanam, at the Ramanarayanam temple in Vizianagaram.

Mr. Vijayaraghavacharyulu said Lord Rama’s every word and deed was a message to humankind and advised young scholars to continue their studies with the support of the Valmiki Research Centre established at the temple.

Ramanarayanam temple trustee Narayanam Srinivas and research centre director Narayanam Gowri Nitya said scholars from different states would take part in religious discourses on Sunday as well.
