Intermediate student found dead on railway track

A minor girl died by jumping in front of a moving train between Sitafalmandi and Kacheguda Railway Station in the early hours of Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Intermediate student, and a native of Peddakodur village in Siddipet.

According to the police, the girl’s elder sister came to know of her relationship with a youth. “The two were seeing each other for the past four months. Afraid that her sister would reveal it to their parents, the girl took the drastic step. She informed the boy about her plan, who sent his friends to find her. However, before they could reach, she ended her life,” said an official from the Kacheguda Railway Police.

A case was booked.
