About 30 people were injured, three of them seriously, when a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus collided with a tourist bus at Manoor, near Edappal, in Malappuram district of Kerala early on Tuesday (January 21, 2025).
The police said both the buses were speeding. The accident took place around 3 a.m.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals in Malappuram and Thrissur districts.
The KSRTC bus was heading towards Mananthavadi from Thrissur, and the private tourist bus towards Kochi from Kasaragod when the accident occurred.
